Welcome to The Cleaning Company. By booking our services, you (the “Client”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all residential, commercial, and builders’ cleaning services provided by Tobias Guerriero and his team across the Gold Coast.
1. Services
The Cleaning Company agrees to provide professional cleaning services as described on our website or as agreed upon in your specific quote. Our services include:
- Residential & Deep Cleaning
- Commercial & Office Cleaning
- Builders Clean & Post-Construction
- End of Lease Cleaning
2. Bookings and Quotes
Quotes: All quotes provided are estimates based on the information provided by the Client. We reserve the right to amend the quote if the property condition differs significantly from the description or if additional tasks are requested on-site.
Acceptance: A booking is confirmed once the Client agrees to the quote and a date/time is scheduled.
3. Payments
Residential Services: Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfers and [insert other payment methods if applicable, e.g., credit cards].
Commercial/Builders Clean: Invoices are issued upon completion and must be paid within [7] days of the invoice date.
Late Payments: We reserve the right to charge a late fee for payments not received within the specified timeframe.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. However, to manage our team’s schedule:
- Notice Required: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee of [insert amount, e.g., $50 or 20% of the quote] to cover staff displacement.
- Access: If our cleaners cannot access the property at the scheduled time (lock-outs), the full service fee or a call-out fee may apply.
5. Client Obligations
To ensure the best results, the Client agrees to:
- Provide access to the property (key, code, or being present).
- Provide access to running water and electricity.
- Secure any pets during the cleaning process.
- Point out any fragile, broken, or high-value items that require special care.
6. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
Your happiness is our priority.
- If you are not completely satisfied with our service, you must notify us within 24 hours of the completion of the job.
- We will return to the property and re-clean the specific areas of concern at no extra cost.
- Please note that we do not offer refunds, only re-cleans under this guarantee.
7. Insurance and Liability
Insurance: The Cleaning Company is fully insured for Public Liability.
Damage: Our cleaners are police-checked and highly trained. In the unlikely event of accidental damage, the Client must report it within 24 hours.
Exclusions: We are not liable for damage caused by “wear and tear,” faulty installation of fixtures, or pre-existing damage.
8. Safety and Eco-Friendly Products
We use eco-friendly and non-toxic products. However, if you require specific chemicals for heavy-duty cleaning (e.g., in Builders Cleans), please let us know.
Our cleaners reserve the right to leave a property if they encounter unsafe working conditions or hazardous materials (e.g., biohazards, asbestos) not previously disclosed.
9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we handle your personal information and our use of cookies for advertising on Google and Meta.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be handled within the jurisdiction of the Gold Coast courts.
